Did you know that the Berlin Brettspiel Con 2025 is one of the largest board game events in Germany with over 16,000 visitors and 91 exhibitors? Neither did I! I (Swantje, Marketing Manager at Funtails – hello!) am more or less forced to visit the Berlin Con every year. And every time it’s like Christmas! Unfortunately, I rarely get anything as a present, but I do get to spend some time with a bunch of friends and acquaintances. The Berlin Con has always been a place where the board game hobby brings people together. You can feel it!

The Berlin Board Game Con 2025
The Berlin Brettspiel Con 2025 (August 1-3) at the Estrel Congress Center is THE meeting place for all board game players.
We at Funtails will take you by the hand and provide you with all the information you need: tickets, opening hours, directions, accommodationand of course the most important thing – how to find us.
At the end you will know exactly how to get the most out of your visit and where to find us!
Tickets & opening hours
How much is the fun and when does it start?
- Badge (Weekend + GameNights): 79 € – Access from Friday 16:30, Saturday and Sunday 9:30.
- Weekend: Day ticket for Saturday & Sunday – 50 €.
- Day ticket: Saturday 29 €, Sunday 25 € (children < 14 years free on Sunday)
- Opening Hours:
- Friday: 16:30 – 24:00 (Badge)
- Saturday: 09:30 – 24:00 (badge) | 10:00 – 19:00 (day)
- Sunday: 09:30 – 18:00 (badge) | 10:00 – 18:00 (day)
Tip: Secure your Berlin Con Ticket in time online at Besucher_en – Berlin Brettspiel Con. The tickets are already sold out and only available at the Resale Store. So be quick! There is no box office on site, so you will need an online ticket.
Arrival & accommodation
How do you get there relaxed and where do you sleep?
Arrival by public transportation:
- S-Bahn S41/S42 to “Sonnenallee” station (200 m walk)
- Bus M41 & N77 also “Sonnenallee”
- Tip: BVG-Ticket AB is valid to the Con and back – sustainable and stress-free!
Parking & Car:
- Parking deck Estrel (limited spaces) – get there early!
Accommodation recommendations:
- Budget: a&o Berlin Mitte (from 25 €/night)
- Mid-range: Hotel Indigo Kurfürstendamm (from 90 €/night)
- Premium: nhow Berlin (from 150 €/night)
We are not hotel experts – so the recommendations are based solely on my (Swantje’s) personal experience. The most important tip is to book early. For next year, it’s best to start looking this summer!

Free play area (Hall 1, under the balcony):
- Blood on the Clocktower: Live rounds with storytellers on the balcony
- On-site player registration: It’s best to arrive early to secure your spot.
Personal tip: Last year, seats for the Blood on the Clocktower laps were in high demand. It’s best to register early onsite to secure your spot. You can find the QR code to register at the top of the stairs leading to the free-play area, at our booth E-06, and at our tables in the free-play area.
Your Con Tips for the Perfect Experience
Small tricks, big effect:
- Pack light: water bottle, snacks & power bank in your backpack – big backpacks are usually more of a hassle than a help.
- Use the Con App: Access the program, schedule & flea market information on the go
- Food & Networking: Pop-up café in the foyer and food trucks outside offer vegan and hearty snacks.
- Flea Market: Bring & Buy registration by July 24 – max. 56 games per person, ticket required – highly sought after and currently sold out.
